I realised today that my blogging has been somewhat lax of late. With a week spent in the Isle of Skye and trips to Yorkshire and Belfast over the past few weeks means I have very little to report on the running front because I have little time to actually go running.
But there is one slice of news…
This week I had an article published in Like the Wind Magazine. It was a four page spread where I wrote about the use of music and memories to help me stay motivated during running. It was a continuation of a piece written on here a few months ago called Miles and Memory and I am over the moon with how it has turned out. If you want to read the article in all it’s printed glory I urge you to buy the magazine as it contains a whole host of amazing articles and fantastic illustrations. I loved the illustration done for my piece so much I’m having it printed to have up in my flat!
Hopefully my training will soon resume normal practice as I now have less than 40 days until the Berlin Marathon and the many other marathons that follow swiftly after. With the aim of smashing my PB by 30 minutes I cannot get too complacent…
Next Race: Leighton 10 Miler
